[Shincheonji Quotes] The Significance of Four Gospels by Man Hee Lee

The Creator God Father had chosen the prophets to record the old and the new testaments on behalf of God. It means that the writer of the 4 gospels is God himself and thus it contains the will of God.

The term, 4 gospels, refers to four books written by Matthew, Mark, Luke and John especially regarding the traces and words of Jesus. The thing that four of them deal with the performances of Jesus in so similar a tone proves us that the events recorded in 4 gospels are the actual historical events. And it allows us to see Jesus' life in more comprehensive and multidimensional way.

Among 4 gospels, Matthew, Mark and Luke are called as 'the synoptic Gospels' since they are written on the similar format and perspectives. On the other hand, the book of John deals with more spiritual contents than the others and also mentions about the Counselor.

The thing that 4 gospels cover the fulfillment of the old testament confirms us that 'The bible is living words.' as well as 'The writer God is working alive.'.Not only that, it also suggests that Jesus is the Messiah, who was promised by God in the old testament Furthermore, it makes us believe that 'Promises in the New Testament are also to be fulfilled.'.

These elements characterize the 4 Gospels as the answers for the old testament and the stepping-stone which connects between the old testament and the new testament. Also it plays the role of the backbone of the Christianity and of the guidance to the kingdom of heaven. Saints can never think light of the 4 Gospels.

The spiritual state of the second coming of Jesus is no other than the one of the first coming.(Rev11:8) What is to come is of more importance than what has already passed by. We should set the past events as the mirror to view ourselves. Doing this, we should try to realize well what is yet to be fulfilled not to repeat the mistake of the Jews.

Jesus has revealed the secrets of Heaven in 4 gospels(Mt13:34~35) and asserted that anyone who does not understand the true meaning of the parables will not be forsaken nor be God's children.(Mk4:10~13) Even though now is the time for the secret of the kingdom of heaven to be revealed. plainly, we will be the ones who have nothing to do with God's kingdom of heaven unless we try our best to realize the true meaning of them.
Now is the time for everyone to repent and come into the word of God.

I pray that those who read this article are sure to verify the promises and the fulfillment of the old testament and further to keep the new promise of Jesus who is to come the second time.

Shincheonji is now proclaiming the physical fulfillment of the new testament exactly based on the bible, which has taken place in Gwa-cheon in South Korea.

[Shincheonji Quotes] Time to realize God's true will in Shincheonji

God created the worlds of Adam and Noah, and yet they were deceived by the devil and betrayed God just like the devil (refer to Gn 3:1-11; Gn 9:20-27). The world of Moses, the Israelites who received the Law betrayed God as well (Hos 6:7). Due to such betrayal, God appointed the Old Testament prophets in order to make known the true God (Hos 6:6) and also to proclaim future events. God came to Jesus and made himself known to people by fulfilling the Old Testament. The Israelites, however, adhered only to the Law of Moses, and they did not receive God. God, therefore, established a new covenant, which is the New Testament, through Jesus (Mt 26:26-29; Lk 22:14-20; Heb 8:10). The book of Revelation, which is yet to be fulfilled at the second coming, summarizes the New Testament very well. There has never been a time when God did not fulfill his promises accordingly (Is 14:24; Hab 2:3). In the same manner, God has also fulfilled the book of Revelation and the New Testament.

This is the round-up of the biblical history in the context of COVENANT.  God said he would keep his covenant to those who love him and keep his commands.(Dt7:9)
Carrying out the life of faith, what are we heading for in our spirit? And all through the biblical history what is God accomplishing with his zeal ?

Due to Adam's betrayal, God had to map out for recovering his lost paradise. Not to be betrayed again, God chose the people and had to test and train them to see whether they would keep the promise or not..(refer to Ps89:3, Dt8:2)

Throughout the ages of Noah, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, God chose the physical Israelites as his chosen people and commanded them to keep his promise and obey his words.(Ex19:5~6) It was to make them his kingdom of priests and holy nations. Tempted by Satan ever since the original sin, however, the people chosen by God turned their backs on God's promise. That has always been and even now is the case.

After the first covenant broken, Jesus made the second promise and he has left it to us 2000 years before.  The gospel has been preached in the whole world as a testimony.(Mt24:14)  That means we have no excuse for God's words.(refer to Jn15:22)

Now is the time when the signs of the second coming of Jesus have already been fulfilled and we should prepare the lamp and oil to meet the bridegroom.
In Shincheonji, we are testifying about the fulfillment of the New Testament. Come and see!

[Shincheonji Bible Story] Classification of the Biblical Era - Adam

Ecc1:4 Generations come and generations go, but the earth remains forever.

Through all the biblical history, God has been choosing several individuals to make God’s will known to each era. They include Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses and Jesus.
Through this category, let us examine each era on what had happened and what the result was.

1.     Adam’s generation
In every era, God gives the chosen people his commandments to abide by.
>>  God’s commandments to Adam’s generation
: Do Not Eat from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil
Ge2:16~17 And the LORD God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die.”

Despite being the recipient of God’s commandments, the chosen people forsook God’s word and came to be under Satan’s rule.
Ge3:1 Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden?”
(Serpent: Symbolic of Satan, Rev20:2 dragon = ancient serpent = devil = Satan)

Ge3:6 When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.

By turning back on God’s commandments, anyone belonging to God was found nowhere in Eden.
Ge3:22~23 And the LORD God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.” So the LORD God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken.

By Adam’s committing sins, the original sin came into human’s genealogy and it had gotten even greater as time goes by.
Ge6:6 The LORD was grieved that he had made man on the earth, and his heart was filled with pain.

Ge6:3 Then the LORD said, “My Spirit will not contend with man forever, for he is mortal; his days will be a hundred and twenty years.”

Corruption leads the generation to the end and the new generation follows.

On next posting, let us take a look at the next generation of Adam, which is Noah’s world.
